The Knudson Churchill Scholarship Trust

Journalism:

2012 Winner
Nicole Kulick (Portland, OR) plans to attend the Western Washington University, studying journalism along with biology and environmental science to start a career as an environmental journalist. She would like to participate on the staff of the university’s student newspaper, as well as in the school’s journalism internships with news publications.

Automotive Technology:

2012 Winner
Cody Kruse (Mountain Home, TX) will continue his studies at Universal Technical Institute for Diesel and Automotive Technology (Houston, TX) to complete his program and graduate in 2013. He is preparing to qualify for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification after graduation for which he will need practical experience as an automotive technician learning to accomplish technical tasks efficiently and with quality workmanship. His long term goal is to own his own automotive repair shop.
