Dues Renewal FAQ

Here are some answers to some of the frequently asked questions about the Dues Renewal Form. We have also created a PDF file that you can download and keep handy when you are filling in the online form. The PDF will take you step-by-step through the form and checkout procedures. PLEASE make sure you fill in your email address in the PayPal screen. The PayPal transactions will fail if the email address is not correct. Also, your credit card information MUST match what is on file with the Credit Card company. If it doesn't, the transaction will not be processed.



What is the Dues Renewal Form?
The dues renewal form is designed to allow an online solution to renew your Register membership dues. It should be used by all current Register members whose dues expire on September 1, 2010. The form will be active until the middle of October.


How do I know when my dues expire?
There are a couple ways to find out when your Register dues expire.
You can look at the wrapper the August TSO arrived in. On the area just above your name you will find two things: on the left you will find your membership number. On the right you will find your Dues Expiration date. If it shows September 2010, it's time to renew. A sample of the envelope is shown below

Or you can select the menu item "Find your Register Number" from the Member Support section of the web site. Then select the icon for your last name. A PDF file will appear and you can search for your last name.


I got a message that I need my Register number. Where is that?
You can find your Register number on the envelope the August TSO arrived in (see illustration above) or you can select the menu item "Find your Register Number" from the Member Support section of the web site. Then select the icon for your last name. A PDF file will appear and you can search for your last name. Your Register number will be with your last name.


Can I join the Register using the Renewal form?
At this time only dues renewals are accepted using this form. To join, click on the Join Us tab on the upper section of the web site.


I see that the Register is using PayPal for dues renewal. I don't have a PayPal account. Can I still use the dues renewal form?
Yes, you can use the form for your dues renewal. You do not have to have a PayPal account. When you click Proceed to Checkout on the form, you will be transferred to PayPal's secure server.
On the screen you will see a section that says Pay as a guest. Fill in the information requested making sure us use your name as it appears on your credit card. For more information on payment, click here.

We've chosen PayPal as our online credit card processor to help eliminate the number of times the credit card number is handled. Members who use the online will have the transaction handled on a secure site and no longer have multiple members of the Register staff have access to the credit card number.


The book prices are different from the books/CD page. Why?
We are pleased to offer some of our most popular items at a special price for those who choose to buy when they renew. These prices are good only when they are accompanied with the renewal. Reduced prices are good for a limited time.


How will my dues renewal be listed on my credit card statement?
The transaction will be listed as New England MG T Register. Some credit card companies may shorten the name.
